Park days, Featured Events, Affiliates & Subgroups

There are as many events, SHG-affiliates & sub-groups as SHG members create, from the Single Parent's group to regional groups.  Below are a few stand-by's to know about.  They are only some of a great quantity you can discover (or start!) by joining.

These events & venues can be good first-visits if you need to be verified and approved for subscription to the Yahoo Group.  If afternoons are hard for you (nap anyone?), Loyal Hts and FLP, plus other events, operate for longer periods.

Tuesday Park Day + Fridays, June!

A long-standing public park gathering of SHGers & anyone else who would like to come! Attend anytime or coordinate with our Newcomer Welcomer to arrange for a Greeter to meet you there. Additionally, there are special 'Newcomer Park Days' when extra volunteer-welcomers will be present.   Many arrive around 1-2p, give or take.  To find out more, please contact our Newcomer Welcomer at: seattlehomeschoolgroup@gmail.com

Teen Group

In the past, SHG teen families have actively planned gatherings targeted at kids in this age range. Currently there is not such a group- though you could spearhead it! There is however, a general FB Group / bulletin board for Seattle-are HS Teens.
